If you have checked Mojophenia recently you already know that the competition to win 5 copies of the limited edition/signed Monsters In Rome CD has been announced. This would be your first shot to get a copy for free, autographed and everything.
In the meantime physical CD’s also became available on my CdBaby store as well and very soon also here on the site. If you want to help me spread the word about this release feel free to embed the following video wherever you wish and make my day. 🙂

I am happy to announce that starting today anyone interested can purchase a digital copy of the “Monsters In Rome” album right here on the site! (ATTENTION: If you are browsing the site on a mobile system, you might want to try the mobile music page instead.) You can listen to any of the tracks, you can embed/share them in your own personal blog or website PLUS you can download the title track “Monsters In Rome” FOR FREE!

Does that sound cool, or what?

So head on over to the music section of the site, listen to the songs, buy the entire album or just the songs you like!

Share the album or just your favorite tracks on your blog, website, facebook page or whatever personal webspace you desire.

Also, the physical CD is going out to distribution very soon now, so be on the lookout for that! Once I get the CD’s pressed, the record will be available on iTunes as well.

Recording time

Oh, Recording Time, a weekly event from now on designed to stimulate the interest in my soon-to-be- and already-been-recorded music. A number of you already know about my soon-to-be-published, limited-edition, very first musical album, as a few of you have also helped me out with some very appreciated and constructive criticism.
Anyway, we’ve taken the project a step further this weekend, as we’ve recorded a few more live videos, thus adding to our current collection of 1.

I was a bit surprised to find out that the camera we’re using is not up for most of the applications we’ve subjected it to, but it all came out looking decent in the end. At least, we agreed to agree on that.

BTW, before I forget: I’m getting a visit from an A&R rep of a national label sometime next week, but I doubt she’ll be able to convince me to sell them my soul.

Also, I’ve decided to start the recording of my second album early this summer, as I have loads of unpublished, unreleased and unrecorded material still. I think it will make a decent sounding one guitar+one voice album. Real indie folk this time.

Talk to you soon!

Pre-listen to the album!

Posted by admin On April - 10 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

I am looking for a few “volunteers” to give my album a pre-listen, and share their opinion on the songs, the recordings and the arrangements, etc. I am doing this because I’ve been cooked up in the studio with these songs for a very long time now, and I am totally deaf when it comes to making any more adjustments. I also need your opinions on the final track list (as not all songs are created equal, not all will make it).
Ok, now for some requirements: you need to be a huge music fan in general, and you especially need to like indie folk. I won’t be insulted by any opinion, I really want honest feedback.
I am sending out the CDs to a few of my musician friends later on this month, so if you would like to be one of the people to pre-listen, contact me and I will send you the un-mastered album, which you can keep.
FOR THIS, you will also receive a free copy of the album once the CDs arrive from the press, way before the actual release date.

So let me know.
