Those of you who are connected to my Indie Folker channel on YouTube, already know that my Halloween song video is live. I wrote briefly about this in my last post, and I’m happy I could deliver. I will most likely have more videos up soon, so please subscribe to my Youtube channel to be informed.

I will most likely have some new video material from the two gigs that I will be doing this week, which I will also upload, plus: we are preparing a new song and video with my band, so I strongly advise you to keep an eye on my Youtube channel.

Here’s that direct subscribe link again, for the really lazy ones: http://bit.ly/tSgBsF

Indie folk at its best? Well, you tell me! Comment below, comment on the video, wherever you want. Make yourself heard! I am listening…

If you want to give a struggling artist a chance, share my stuff. Share my Halloween vid with your friends on Facebook or show it to your children. There’s a load of stuff you can do, but sharing my videos and spreading the word about me on social platforms is a good enough start. I will upgrade you to super-duper-intendent (just learned that from Simpsons) of PR if you do good on this first assignment!

Bookstore Gig And Halloween Song Video

I have wanted to do a show in a bookstore for a long time now. I don’t know why I never got around to it, but I will be performing a few songs this Thursday in my home town – in exactly such a place. I already have a few ideas of what I would LIKE it to be like – I guess, we will see the results afterward, as I will surely be posting some videos on Youtube.

My favorite singer-songwriters have been doing shows like this for as long as I remember, it would be very uncool (read: un-indie folk) of me not to give this a shot.

A few of my favorite videos of such events below:

Mumford & Sons did a Bookshop Session a while back

Beirut had their Tiny Desk Concert not long ago:

Alexi Murdoch played a record store session at Vinyl Fever – I know, this is not a bookstore, but it kind of feels the same

I am also about to record a video for this weeks Halloween super-search – that I very much expect to happen – on Youtube. I will most likely have that up for you by Wednesday, so stay close.

Happy Halloween!

It’s November everyone! As I promised, the free downloading of my Monsters In Rome record, which I have been offering for a whole month, will now stop. I hope you enjoyed it, the response to this campaign was up to my expectations, so I am not at all sorry for thinking about it. I will most likely have other campaigns of this sort in the future. In order to keep yourself informed, I recommend subscribing to my newsletter.
The Monsters In Rome album is still available for purchase or for free streaming right here on the website. If you wish to buy Compact Discs, I still have some from my LIMITED EDITION edition, and I am glad to personalize them for you, if you wish. The digital version of the album is also still up for grabs, I decided to keep it on a name-your-price basis, with a minimum price of 3$. Hope you understand.
In the meantime, I will be working away on an alternative Christmas album, you will get to see the results soon enough.

IN OTHER NEWS: Monsters In Rome seems to be a good Halloween track as it has been featured in two round-ups around the web, and The Mad Mackerel has also included it on a Best Of October mix.
