Two new videos from LIE WITH ME

Posted by admin On December - 6 - 2012 1 COMMENT

The producers of the film LIE WITH ME have been kind enough to send over two new videos from the film with my music in the background. As some of you might know already, 8 Indie Folker songs will be included in the OST of the film and I will be releasing an album with all of this music as soon as the film is out.

“Be a Wolf” – a never before released track.

“Silver Screen” – probably one of my top favorites from this bunch.

…and the two songs I have already shared…

“Personal Disaster” – from my “Monsters In Rome” record.

“Cold Sun” – a never before released track.

I guess that’s it for now, but please keep watching.

Another NEW VIDEO from the LIE WITH ME Soundtrack

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, there will be 8 Indie Folker songs appearing on the soundtrack of the soon to be released feature film LIE WITH ME. I already posted the video for the first musical moment from LIE WITH ME, now it’s time to reveal another such footage.

This moment has a snippet of the song “Personal Disaster” which I’ve released on my “Monsters In Rome” album – with a different arrangement, at that point. All the songs from LIE WITH ME are acoustic versions of previously produced tracks and two new songs (Cold Sun & Be A Wolf).

Here’s the moment titled “The River” with “Personal Disaster” playing in the background.

And to recapitulate a bit, the video I posted last week from this same OST, featuring the song “Cold Sun” – a never before released track.

I guess that’s it for now, but keep watching, because as soon as new material and information regarding release and screening of LIE WITH ME will become official, I will post about that.

Ciao!

That is right! I have some songs (8, to be precise) included on the soundtrack of the soon-to-be released feature film LIE WITH ME.

I won’t keep you in suspense, watch the first musical footage from the film below:

You want to know more about the film? Well, check out LIE WITH ME on IMDB to find out more (and keep watching as new information gets out before the release).

Director: Jamison Brandi
Writers: Jamison Brandi (written and adapted by), Jason Brandi (written and adapted by)
Based on a play by: Keith Bridges

“Haunted by a family secret of incest and harboring the news of her dying mother, an estranged woman journeys home to bury her dark past forever.”

Jamison Brandi has contacted me early this year proposing a collaboration… and I immediately accepted. He has chosen a few songs of mine to be included in the film he was directing, and I offered to re-record the acoustic versions that he wanted. It was a scary thought, as I never released music like this, I always spend my time producing the tracks before I send them to sea. I am glad this project came together as it did, and I can hardly wait to see the film, it’s all I can add at the moment.

Please stay close because there will be new material coming very very soon, and the trailer will be shared on my website as well.

Lie With Me also has a website, so you can keep close to them (and you should) or/and follow the IMDB page that I shared at the beginning of this post.

Until further notice…

Adios.

Personal Disaster Video & More

We are in the process of shooting a video for the song “Personal Disaster” from my “Monsters In Rome” record. The idea has been gestating for a while but now it is time to get it done.

Listen to the song below:

Toth Orsolya from SpotFilm will be in charge of all production and filming for the “Personal Disaster” video – script and direction by Victor Olăhuţ.

While I will not yet reveal the content of the video itself or any of the underlying ideas behind the script, I do advise you to download the “Monsters In Rome” record if you haven’t yet had the chance to, and, more importantly, listen to the song “Personal Disaster”. I have released this album in 2010 and there is already one video circulating on YouTube, for “Afraid Not Scared”, but no other videos have been made for songs from this album. Which is a shame, because I truly think I have a few gems on here.

Watch the video for “Afraid Not Scared” below:

My music to be featured in the film “Lie With Me”

Songs from this record are about to receive even more attention this year, as the film “Lie With Me” by Jamison Brandi will feature acoustic versions of 6 tracks from “Monsters In Rome”. The film will also feature the songs “Cold Sun” and “Be A Wolf” – never before released. I will tell you more about this feature film very shortly, but this is all the information I can provide at the moment. That and the fact that I am really excited to have this opportunity – the film is still in post-production but I can hardly wait to see the final results!

On tour this summer with the “Fisura” play

There is one more important project for this year: I have written and recorded a few songs for a play and released “The Crack (Musical)” in March, 2012. The music was for the play “Fisura” by Flavius Lucăcel, directed by Victor Olăhuţ and…well… we are going on tour with it this summer. There are a lot of interesting aspects to this project, but the most important one is the fact that our venues are a bit unusual for this kind of theater: we are going to perform our musical play in several villages around Transylvania and our theater space will be constructed in the barns, sheds of the villagers. A documentary film will be made to capture the spirit of the entire tour and document the reactions of the public. I sense this will be a really fun project and I couldn’t be happier to take part!
